Honeywell’s value offering for soft armor applications,
Gold Shield® GA-2010 combines Honeywell’s patented Shield technology with aramid fiber.

Gold Shield® GA-2010 is a roll product consisting of two plies of unidirectional aramid fiber; cross plied at 0°/90°, and sandwiched in a thermoplastic film.

Applications:

  • Concealable and tactical body armor for police, military, and VIP’s
  • Bomb blankets

This hard armor product combines Honeywell’s patented Shield technology with DuPont TM Kevlar® brand aramid fiber. Gold Shield® GV-2018 is a roll product consisting of four plies of unidirectional Kevlar® fiber, cross plied at 0Û/90Û/0Û/90Û .
